The solution is based on the high-sensitivity SP Vibro accelerometer, capable of recording accelerations ranging from 0.04g to 4g. This enables the detection of not only obvious impacts but also microscopic changes in vibration amplitude—early precursors to metal fatigue in structural components or bearing degradation in rotating machinery. The sensor mounts via a magnetic base or stud, instantly transforming a static asset into a "smart" node that transmits data via LoRaWAN across kilometers of industrial floors or dense urban environments.

The system operates on an event-driven monitoring principle: the logger continuously analyzes the vibration spectrum in sleep mode and instantly "wakes up" to transmit data if a predefined threshold is exceeded. This ensures years of autonomous operation from a single battery, even at remote sites—such as railway tracks, power line supports, or hard-to-reach machine components—where running signal cables is either impossible or cost-prohibitive.

In SunPeak SmartCloud, vibration data undergoes spectral analysis algorithms. The system establishes a "baseline profile" of a healthy asset and continuously compares current metrics against it. Any shift in vibration amplitude or frequency beyond the norm serves as a signature of a hidden defect. The cloud does more than send notifications; it can trigger SP Act actuators to automatically halt a malfunctioning conveyor or activate warning lights on a hazardous track section, preventing train derails or structural collapses.

For chief engineers and maintenance departments, this represents a transition to transparent resource auditing. SmartCloud accumulates "mean time between failures" (MTBF) history, allowing repairs to be scheduled based on the actual condition of components rather than an arbitrary calendar. This radically reduces the risk of sudden downtime, optimizes spare parts budgets, and guarantees the real-time operational safety of critical infrastructure.
