The herd is equipped with clips or collars, each of which constantly monitors the average activity and temperature of the animal. All data is transmitted by LoRaWAN link to the central device SP Herd Base, installed as a collar on one of the animals. Receiving data from the collars and clips of the herd, the central device indirectly estimates the distance to each of the animals and refines its location via GPS and transmits it to the intelligent cloud platform SunPeak via a GSM channel. Thus, the herd owner receives fairly accurate data on the location of the herd, sees and, by receiving notifications, can promptly prevent the risks of individual or mass animal diseases. Constant automated monitoring of animal welfare ensures stable herd productivity and farm efficiency.
